3D LifePrints appoints Jackie Fielding, Vice-President of Medtronic UK/Ireland as Non-Executive Director and Peter Ellingworth, CEO of the Association of British Healthcare Industries as Chairman of the Board

Jackie Fielding appointed Non-Executive Director; Peter Ellingworth appointed Chairman.

3D LifePrints today announced that it has appointed Jackie Fielding, Vice President of Medtronic UK/Ireland as a Non-Executive Director. In addition, Peter Ellingworth, CEO of the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI) will become Chairman of 3D LifePrints. These leadership appointments are effective immediately.

Jackie is Vice President of Medtronic UK/ Ireland  a multi-million dollar business where she leads around 700 staff. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare industry primarily with Medtronic where she has held a number of roles before taking on the VP role 10 years ago. Jackie has held a number of external posts alongside her role in Medtronic including Chair of BCIA (British Cardiovascular Intervention Association) and a council member of BCIS (British Cardiovascular Intervention Society). She is also a member of the Ministerial Medical Technology Strategy Group. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare with over 90,000 employee spread around 150 countries.

Peter leads the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI), the UK’s leading HealthTech trade association, representing 300 companies in MedTech, diagnostics and digital health. Representing industry across government, Peter currently sits on the Secretary of State led Life Sciences Council as well as the Board of the Oxford Academic Health Science Network. At European Level, Peter is a former board member of MedTech Europe and is the immediate past Chair of their National Association Network (NAN). Internationally, he is engaged with the UK Government on several initiatives to promote the country and assist British companies with their export strategies. In 2018 he was appointed to the advisory board of Healthcare UK, the government agency responsible for promoting the UK healthcare sector to overseas markets.

With the expansion of the Board to include Jackie it made perfect sense for Peter to take on the additional responsibility of acting as the Chair. Both Jackie and Peter have significant roles to play in guiding 3D LifePrints through the scale-up process.”

The Board is filled out by the founders Paul Fotheringham and Henry Pinchbeck in addition to key investor Andrew Douglas of Fenwall Investments.
